2008 Election Winners & Losers

Winners
Barack Obama: For sticking to his message of change. And of course winning.
Joe Biden: For sticking to the campaign message of change, and being a strong VP pick.
The Youth Vote: For putting there energy and vote to effect. And creating a youth vote that will factor into elections from years to come.
The U.S.: For excepting change and showing that diversity is what this countries stands for and believes in.

Losers

John McCain: For Lack of preparation. Lack of a strong message. And of course losing.
Sarah Palin: For allowing herself to be a billy goat.
Joe Lieberman: For showing his true colors
Right Wing Attack Media: For exposing themselves to be nothing but entertainment for the ignorant.

1st Step the Economy

All over the media the talk is about President Obama's most important assignment is getting us out of this economic rut. And they are right. If Barack Obama and his team don't figure something out at least within his first term to turn this around for the better then this can get ugly.

THE DAY AFTER THE MAYHEM

I must admit the post election was alot calmer then I expected it to be. I anticipated a division of sort, not a big division but a small one between race and money. But I guess I was giving the American public less credit than what was due.

BARACK! BARACK! BARACK!

He won and might I say what an amazing election and it makes me proud to be an American. Showing people all over the world that we are country not afraid to change.

THE DAY BEFORE THE MAYHEM

Its the day before the election and if the numbers are accurate Barrack Obama will come out victorious. But I must admit I am quite worried to see what would happen if the early projection numbers came out wrong and MCcain becomes the winner. How will the American people react? Will there be division between races? Will the youth vote ever again? All these factors make me worry to see what will happen when the winner is finally announced.

I Favor Bush 90% of the Time

These words have been the Obama campaign knockout punch since the campaign began. And they have never strayed from it. This ad gave the undecided voters who believed in the maverick MCcain a his ideas of change a better understanding of his past and his past decisions. It shows that MCcain has followed George Bush and all his decisions a large majority of the time, discrediting the idea that he has something new and fresh to bring to the table.

Attack in Ads=Victory??????????

This election has shown the reverse effect attack ads have had on the party running them. The MCcain campaign has released several attack ads attempting to link Obama to many people in hopes to shift the tide in the election. And all of them have been a utter failure the only thing the Attack ads have done is made the MCcain campaign look desperate and showed the lack of substance they have. Because instead of the MCcain campaign focusing on how they can dissociate themselves from George Bush they are spending much of there time running negative ads against Obama  trying to win there campaign by knocking down the other candidate. This approach has shown to be very ineffective and is the reason for Obama being able to maintain his lead and his ability to continue to win over undecided voters.

The Money Game

The Money game has been the most fascinating thing about this 2008 Election run. Out are the days when your campaign funding depends just on huge donations from several people. 2008 has shown campaigning for money can be easier and more efficient with more focus being on small donations from millions of people, rather than on MCcain large donations from a few rich people. And if today Obama was asked the question, who is paying for this election? Obama would answer back millions of supporters are paying for this election. And this is the money game the winner usually secures the election.

Obama Winning Over America

America is witnessing Barack Obama win over America. As crazy as that sounds its happening. No more seen as a radical terrorist that the McCain campaign continues to attempt to depict him as, but more as an intelligent, educated, and like able young man who wants to do good for this great country. So with each debate what is being reflected is that Obama stands up there with ideas and plans; while McCain's doing nothing but dishing out personal attacks and trying to raise fear amongst the ignorant.

Voter Turnout Advantage

The Voter Turnout Advantage I feel is a huge key to the success of either party. In simplistic terms if voter turnout is high  than the Democrats will win. And on the other side if voter turnout is low than the Republicans will win. So the Democrats are aimed at increasing voter turnout with, a more active youth vote and increasing participation amongst black voters. While Republicans are trying to decrease voter turnout by instilling fear in the same people Democrats are aiming at. This race is getting NASTY.

VP PIck?

Studies have shown that VP pick usually does not effect the Presidential pick. But I have a feeling this election all of that is going to change. With the pick of Sarah Palin by the Republican party this can go down as one of the most strategic moves in the history of election campaigning or go down in flames like a California wildfire just keep burning and burning and burning with no chance of controlling it. And in my opinion its going to burn the Republicans. An ill advised choice contradicting everything they were running against the Democrats with. Instead of going safe they went out there and out there they will remain.

Internet+Campaign=Success

Never before have we seen the use of the Internet to campaign like the way Barack Obama and his campaign have done it but I promise this will not be the last. Even if he does not win on Nov. 4th be sure you will see his tactics and campaign strategies used over and over again. Because what a job it has done. Not that it hasn't been done before because it has but never to this extent. Utilizing Facebook, Twitter, Blogs, and even his Home website to raise money and just get voter awareness out there has been a tremendous thing to watch and many candidates hoping to run in the near future, hopefully have taken notes because that's what you call DOMINATION.
